If you like a peaceful holiday, we suggest a stroll along the seafront. History buffs can explore the ancient fortress of Alanya by taking the cable car up there. Or you could take an evening stroll around the port of Alanya or visit the shopping centres.
What to do in Alanya on a rainy day?
Even if it's a bit cloudy, you can still leave the hotel and explore the city. You could visit the Turkish bath and book a massage or go to the shooting range. You can also spend time shopping in Alanya's many shops or explore the ancient cities, as it's not too hot in cloudy weather. If the weather forecast says a few rainy days are coming, take a two-day trip to Cappadocia or Pamukkale.
