It is the largest underground cave in the country, and it's absolutely incredible! It has a horizontal shape and extends almost 2000 metres, with three levels packed with fascinating features. There are numerous lakes, rivers and waterfalls, and the upper level is dry but still breathtaking. You can see stalactites and stalagmites, and snow-white travertines reaching 40 metres high! - Transfer from Hotel
Alanya Altinbesik Tour starts with departure from your hotel at around 09:00. The exact departure time depends on your hotel and will be indicated on your voucher. The trip takes place on comfortable minibuses or buses accompanied by a professional guide.
- Panoramic view of Green Canyon
We're going to start our journey with a quick photo stop at an incredible elevation of 1,200 metres, where we'll soak in the breathtaking views of Green Canyon.
- Ormana Village
After taking in the stunning scenery and capturing it on camera, you'll continue your journey. The winding mountain road will take you to the charming village of Ormana, renowned for its unique houses. You'll also have the chance to interact with the locals, immersing yourself in their culture, history, lifestyle and way of life.
The incredible houses in the village of Ormana are known for being built of stone and Lebanese cedar, without the use of nails – a truly remarkable feat of architecture!
- Lunch
After an amazing tour of the houses and a walk around the village, you'll have lunch at one of the national restaurants. You'll be served chicken kebab or grilled trout and cold traditional snacks. Lunch is included in the tour price, and drinks can be ordered from the waiters at an additional cost.
- Old Mosque in Sariaclar Village
After lunch we will visit the mosque, which is more than 800 years old. Here our guides will tell you about religion and the basics of Islam.
- Altinbesik Cave
After leaving the village, you will continue along a mountain road. At the end of the road you will come to a huge mountain with reddish slopes. In this mountain there is a horizontal three-level cave with the famous Lake of Wishes. The instructor will give you a brief safety briefing, give you a life jacket and help you get into a rubber boat. An unforgettable 20-25 minute ride on the lake awaits you. During this time you will see the inside of the Altinbesik cave, stalactites, stalagmites and natural stone arches.
- Return to Alanya
After a boat trip through Altinbesik Cave, you will have some free time for photos and then our comfortable minibuses will take you back to your Alanya hotels in one hour. You will return back around 18:00.
