Alanya Sapadere Canyon Tour & Dwarves Cave
We know that most active tourists visiting Turkey want to see Sapadere Canyon, so we suggest that all vacationers at our resort take an Alanya Sapadere Canyon Tour.
Calendar & Price
Sapadere Canyon is world-famous and considered one of the most attractive places among popular tourist destinations. This unique canyon is 450 meters long.
This gorgeous spot of untouched nature is a large mountain gorge with powerful waterfalls and lagoons that are just stunning. The clear, refreshing mountain rivers are perfect for a swim. The mountain air is so fresh and invigorating, it'll have you feeling like a new person. And the best part? You'll be surrounded by towering cliffs, making you feel like you're in a movie, exploring new frontiers.
The sheer size is sure to leave any traveler awestruck. We obviously won't have time to walk through the whole canyon — it'd take days. But on our Alanya Sapadere Canyon tour, you'll get to see the main natural attractions of this stunningly beautiful canyon.
- Banana Plantation
- Dwarves Cave
- Sapadere Canyon
- Alanya Views
If you join our tour, you'll get to learn about the life and traditions of the local people and nomads. You'll also visit the Dwarves Cave, which is amazing with its stalactites and stalagmites.
Dwarves Cave
The Dwarf Cave is tucked away in the pretty Taurus Mountains, right in the village of Tırılar. It's just 1.5 km from the road that leads to Sapadere Canyon. This cave is basically a work of natural art, formed over centuries by water eroding the rocks. You'll see all these amazing colours like red, yellow, blue and green on the stalactites and stalagmites, which is why it's also called Rainbow Cave.
There are six halls for visitors to explore, each about 150 metres long, and the temperature is a constant 20 degrees Celsius, so it's always a pleasant visit. The air in the cave, like in Damlatash Cave, has health benefits, helping with asthma and relieving stress and depression.
Villages in the Mountains
Heading to Sapadere Canyon, you'll spot a bunch of tiny Turkish villages and nomadic settlements. Here, you'll pause to get a glimpse into the locals' way of life and their customs. At one of the nomads' tents, you'll be offered some freshly cooked gozleme – that's flatbread made of dough with herbs, potatoes or cheese. Make sure you give this treat a go, along with some ayran to wash it down.

5We went as a big group, including our family and the family we met at the hotel, and we had a great time. By the way, that family was going to buy this tour at the hotel, but when they found out that we’d found the same tour cheaper online, they bought it here too. So, we definitely recommend it – it was a lot of fun!

5I just wanted to say a huge thank you to our guide, who seemed to know every language under the sun, for the incredible experience. He was the one who set the drive for this trip, and the drivers were really professional and funny. We didn’t expect much from such a cheap trip, but you all made it so great! I won’t give away any secrets, as it’s not like it’s going to be some big revelation, but trust me when I say you need this excursion in your life.
