After breakfast at the hotel at around 08:30, you will be picked up by our comfortable minibus and taken to Marmaris Harbour to board the ferry to Dalyan.
- Koycegiz Lake
Once we arrive in the village of Dalyan, we'll hop on a boat to embark on an incredible journey! We'll cruise along the stunning Koycegiz Lake, Turkey's largest volcanic lake in the Aegean region. This lake is a true natural wonder, spanning 52 square kilometres and reaching depths of 30 metres! Along the way, we'll explore one of the many thermal radon springs that dot the lake's shores.
- Thermal Springs & Mud Baths
Here, you'll find thermal springs with water that's rich in radon and hydrogen sulphide. We've got several pools with different water temperatures and a pool with therapeutic mud. Our knowledgeable guides will give you one hour of free time, show you how to take thermal and mud baths, and introduce you to all infrastructure of the place.
- Dalyan River Cruise & Lunch
After the mud baths we take a boat trip along the Dalyan River to our restaurant. Here you will be offered meze and hot national dishes. Lunch is included in the price of the tour and drinks can be ordered from the waiters at the restaurant for an extra charge.
- Lycian Tombs
After lunch, we'll continue our thrilling journey along the river towards the sea. Along the way, we'll stop in front of the incredible Lycian rock tombs, where our knowledgeable guide will regale us with fascinating tales about the ancient city of Kaunos and the remarkable way these tombs were constructed.
- Blue Crabs
When we arrive at Turtle Beach, we will make a special stop where you can try your hand at catching blue crabs and watch the majestic Caretta Caretta turtles. Blue crab was brought here from South America on the holds of ships. They are one of the favourite treats for the incredible Caretta caretta turtles!
- Turtle beach & Caretta Caretta Turtles
Turtles come to this beach from all over the world to lay their eggs! This incredible place is a nature reserve, which means it's a magical, protected space for our planet's amazing wildlife. From 20:00 to 06:00, the beach is closed to the public. And in the river, you can see turtles that live here all the time! These are individuals who, for whatever reason, are unable to travel long distances or have health problems.
You'll have 1.5 hours to soak up the sun, dip your toes in the warm sea, and relax on the sandy beach.

After a wonderful holiday at Turtle Beach you will return to the village of Dalyan where buses will be waiting at the marina to take you back to your hotels in Fethiye and Oludeniz by 18:00.

We zagen een Caretta Caretta zeeschildpad vlakbij de boot! De modderbaden in Sultaniye waren erg grappig. Iztuzu Beach is prachtig. De dag is lang maar elke minuut de moeite waard. Kleine kanttekening: het is erg druk in het hoogseizoen.

4Really wonderful excursion! The Dalyan River cruise is genuinely beautiful — the reed beds, the birds, the ancient Lycian tombs. We were lucky to see a Caretta Caretta turtle close to the boat which was an incredible moment. Mud baths at Sultaniye were fun. Iztuzu Beach is lovely. My only slight complaint is that the day is very long and the time at the beach felt a bit short. But overall a truly memorable experience.

5Simply magical! The Dalyan River boat cruise is unlike anything else — drifting through the reeds with kingfishers darting past and ancient Lycian tombs carved into the cliffsides. We spotted a Caretta Caretta turtle close to the boat which had the children absolutely beside themselves with excitement. The mud baths are hilarious fun. Iztuzu Beach is breathtaking. Perfect excursion for families.

5Magnifique excursion! La croisière sur la rivière Dalyan est vraiment enchanteresse — la végétation luxuriante, les oiseaux, les impressionnants tombeaux lyciens. 5Niesamowita wycieczka przyrodnicza! Rejs po rzece Dalyan to coś absolutnie wyjątkowego. Dzika, niezniszczona przyroda, grobowce licyjskie wykute w skałach, flamingos i zimorodki wszędzie. A żółw Caretta Caretta przy łodzi — dzieci oszalały ze szczęścia i my z nimi! Kąpiele błotne w Sultaniye śmieszne i relaksujące. Plaża Iztuzu jest przepiękna. Zdecydowanie jedna z najlepszych wycieczek z Fethiye!

5Niesamowita wycieczka! Rejs po rzece Dalyan to czysta magia — bujne trzciny, kolorowe ptaki, lickyjskie grobowce wykute w skałach. Mieliśmy szczęście zobaczyć żółwia Caretta Caretta z łodzi! Kąpiele błotne w Sultaniye były świetną zabawą dla całej rodziny. A plaża Iztuzu jest jedną z najpiękniejszych jakie widziałem. Dzieci były zachwycone przez cały dzień. Gorąco polecam!

5Giornata indimenticabile! Il tour Dalyan con la spiaggia delle tartarughe è semplicemente meraviglioso. La crociera fluviale attraverso i canneti con i martin pescatori e le tombe licee nelle scogliere è un’esperienza unica. Vedere una tartaruga Caretta Caretta accanto all’imbarcazione è stato il momento più emozionante della nostra vacanza. I bagni di fango divertentissimi. Iztuzu bellissima. Consigliato!

5Giornata straordinaria! La crociera sul fiume Dalyan è semplicemente magica — canneti lussureggianti, uccelli colorati, tombe rupestri licee scavate nella roccia. Abbiamo avvistato una tartaruga Caretta Caretta dall’imbarcazione! I bagni di fango a Sultaniye erano divertentissimi per tutta la famiglia. E la spiaggia di Iztuzu è una delle più belle che abbia mai visto. Assolutamente consigliato!

El crucero por el río Dalyan es simplemente impresionante — la naturaleza es virgen y hermosa, con juncos, flamencos, garzas y las antiguas tumbas licias en los acantilados. Ver una tortuga Caretta Caretta desde el barco fue el momento más emocionante de nuestras vacaciones para los niños. Los baños de barro en Sultaniye fueron muy divertidos. 5One of the most beautiful excursions we’ve ever done! The boat cruise along the Dalyan River is simply magical — lush reeds, kingfishers, ancient Lycian rock tombs carved into the cliffs. We were lucky enough to spot two Caretta Caretta sea turtles near the beach. The mud baths at Sultaniye were hilarious fun for the whole family. And Iztuzu Beach is absolutely stunning. A perfect day.

5We booked this trip at the last minute. We are so glad we did! We had a lovely day on the river boat. Visited the mud bath and turtle beach. Lunch was good. The guide Adem was wonderful. Very informative and brilliant at his job. The photographer (sorry, can’t remember his name) was also very good. All in all. Well worth the money spent. Highly recommended!!!

5What an incredible trip! We had the chance to travel in a small boat on a river with an unusual green shade, catch crabs and even had turtles swim up to us! They quickly disappeared from sight, but it was still a great experience. We were surrounded by beautiful nature the whole time. Iztuzu is a gorgeous beach, and the guide told us that turtles lay their eggs on this beach! It was truly a remarkable experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone!
