Tour Plan
- Transfer from Hotel
After breakfast at the hotel at around 08:30, you will be picked up by our comfortable minibus and taken to Marmaris Harbour to board the ferry to Dalyan.
- Turtle Beach & Lunch
From the port of Marmaris, our boat will take you to the famous Turtle Beach, which is carefully protected and no building is allowed on the coastline. On the way you will enjoy the freshness of the sea breeze and the southern sun rays, perfecting your Mediterranean tan. We will stop for a swim in one of the quiet bays where you can go snorkelling. When you arrive at Turtle Beach, you'll get served lunch by the crew.
At Iztuzu beach you will have 1.5 hours free time. Don't miss the opportunity to swim and take photos in this stunning location! The beach is 5 kilometres long and you can walk along the shore and enjoy the solitude away from other tourists.
- Dalyan River Cruise
After visiting Turtle Beach, we transfer to small comfortable excursion boats to travel up the river to Lake Koycegiz. On the way you can admire the ruins of the ancient city of Kaunasos, see the Lycian tombs carved into the rock and observe the life of the locals. The lively boat traffic creates a special atmosphere that is unique to Dalyan. Along the river there are many guesthouses and restaurants where time seems to stand still and you can enjoy life in the here and now.
- Thermal Springs & Mud Baths
The thermal springs and mud baths at Daliajn have many healing properties, relieving stress and leaving you in a state of pleasant nirvana. After just one treatment, you will immediately notice that your skin is smoother and more comfortable to touch.
Despite the fact that you should not expect much of an effect from the baths, the procedure is very popular with tourists, if only because you can take beautiful and fanciful photos.
- Return to Marmaris
Once you've enjoyed the thermal springs in Dalyan, you'll hop back on the big boat to catch a ride on some smaller vessels. Then, you'll cruise along the stunning Aegean coastline to Marmaris for 2.5 hours. We're so excited to tell you that there will be a bar and restaurant on the boat where you can order drinks and various snacks! There will also be music playing and the amazing animation team will hold various contests to keep you entertained! And when we arrive at Marmaris harbour, the minibuses that picked you up from your hotels in the morning will take you back!
Frequently ask Question
Will we see turtles in Dalyan?
It all depends on your luck! Turtles live here all year round, and in 90% of cases, tourists can observe them. But remember, Turtle Beach is not a zoo, but a nature reserve.
Are there any shady spots on the ship?
Absolutely! The ship has amazing canopies on the upper deck and cool shaded tables on the lower deck. Either way, you'll be able to take shelter from the scorching rays of the sun.
Is it possible to order a vegetarian menu for lunch?
You can definitely order a vegetarian menu, but just make sure to let the staff know in advance.

5This trip packs more into one day than most holidays manage all week. The Orca is a great boat for this kind of journey — spacious, comfortable, well run. Two hours of beautiful coastline, a swim stop on the way, Turtle Beach, the Lycian rock tombs, mud baths, thermal pools, lunch on board. We saw turtles in the water near the beach. My wife said it was the best day she’d had on any holiday. Hard to argue.

4Tour is very interesting, but the communication with the staff leaves a lot to be desired. Very high prices for drinks on the boat.

3Nice trip with some genuinely impressive moments but it is a very long day. The Orca is comfortable enough for the journey. The Dalyan canal and the rock tombs were the visual highlight. Turtle Beach is beautiful — would have liked more time there. Mud baths were fun but the thermal pools were cooler than expected. Lunch was basic. Good value overall but worth knowing it’s a serious commitment time-wise.

4Came to Marmaris expecting mostly beach days. This was our one cultural day and it was the best thing we did. The Orca is well set up for a long trip — bar, toilets, sun deck, shaded seating. The ancient Kaunos ruins and the Lycian tombs above the canal are spectacular. Turtle Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve seen. The mud baths are genuinely fun. Highly recommended.

5One of those trips that delivers more than you expect. The Orca is comfortable — plenty of room on both decks. I knew about Turtle Beach but the Lycian tombs carved into the cliff above the Dalyan canal completely took me by surprise. The mud baths are ridiculous fun. Turtle Beach is beautiful and we spotted two turtles near the nesting area. A perfect full day out from Marmaris.

5Very beautiful nature and a wonderful beach! The guide Dmitry is very cheerful and positive!

3Good trip but the boat journey is long. Two hours each way on the Orca is fine if you enjoy the scenery but it does eat into the day. Turtle Beach stop was about an hour which wasn’t quite enough. Saw two turtles which was brilliant. Mud baths were good fun — smelled exactly as bad as everyone says. The Dalyan canal and tombs were a real highlight. Would recommend but go in with realistic expectations.

4The highlight of our two weeks in Marmaris. The Orca is a solid boat — well maintained and comfortable. Turtle Beach is extraordinary — long, protected, completely unspoiled. We saw loggerhead turtles in the water which was something my daughter will talk about for years. The mud baths are excellent fun. The ancient Lycian tombs from the canal are breathtaking. Genuinely special day.

5Did this on our last full day and it was the perfect ending to the holiday. The Orca is spacious and comfortable — top deck for sun, lower deck for shade. The Dalyan canal sailing past the ancient rock tombs is genuinely unlike anything else. Turtle Beach is pristine. We saw turtles in the water. The mud baths were great fun. A long day but every single stop is worth it.

3The places you visit are genuinely beautiful and interesting but the day is very long. Two hours on the Orca each way is a lot of boat time. Turtle Beach is gorgeous but the stop felt short. The mud baths were fun and the ancient tombs were a real highlight. For active families it works well. Older or less mobile guests might find the pace tiring. Worth knowing before you book.

5Took the family — two kids aged 9 and 13. Both loved every part. The turtles were the obvious highlight — we saw three near the beach which made the day for the children. The Orca is a comfortable boat with enough space for everyone. The mud baths were a laugh for all ages. The Lycian tombs were genuinely impressive. Long day but paced well. Would do it again without hesitation.

3The trip has a lot of good elements but it’s a very long day — we left at 8:30 and got back around 7:30pm. The boat journey each way is about two hours. Turtle Beach is beautiful but we only had about an hour there which felt rushed. The mud baths were fun. The tombs were impressive. Just be prepared for a full commitment and a lot of time on the boat.
David Clarke
4Really good day out. The Orca has plenty of space — sun loungers on the top deck, shaded seating below. The Lycian rock tombs carved into the cliff above the Dalyan canal are something I won’t forget. Turtle Beach itself was beautiful and we had enough time there. The mud baths are good fun, smelly but worth it. Lunch on board was decent. A full day but well organised.

5One of the best days of our entire holiday. The Orca is a big comfortable boat and the two-hour journey from Marmaris along the coast is a great way to start the day. Turtle Beach was everything we hoped — long, clean and completely unspoiled. We spotted two loggerhead turtles near the shore which made the kids absolutely ecstatic. The mud baths were hilarious fun. A long day but worth every minute.
