Fishing in Fethiye is such a wonderful way to unwind, listen to the soothing sound of the waves, catch some incredible fish, learn about the unique aspects of fishing in Turkey and have the best time ever!
Our captain knows all the best places to fish and the routes they take, so you're sure to catch something! Before you set off, the captain will give you a brief and talk you through the safety and fishing rules. He will also give you all the necessary equipment, including various types of fishing tackle.
The waters of the Mediterranean Sea are home to a whole host of fish, including pink merjan, which is similar to dorado, leurek, tuna, mullet and many more! If you're lucky enough to choose the right tackle and bait, you might even catch a small shark, although this doesn't happen very often.
While you're fishing, you'll have the chance to do more than just catch fish. You can relax in the sun, splash in the Mediterranean Sea and enjoy the gorgeous views. It's a wonderful way to spend the day, and the kids can join in the fun and fishing too!

5Surprisingly good! I’m not a serious fisherman but wanted to try something different. The captain was patient and showed everyone the basics. The sea was calm, the scenery was gorgeous and we all caught at least something. Transfer pickup was prompt. Four hours is the right amount of time — enough to enjoy without feeling like it drags.

4Pleasant trip on the water. We went with another couple and it was a nice group. Caught a couple of fish which the captain helped us unhook. The equipment provided is decent — rods, different types of bait depending on what you’re targeting. Not the most exciting excursion in Fethiye but a calm and enjoyable way to spend the morning.

The views of Fethiye from the water are stunning. Nothing fancy about the boat but that’s part of the charm. Highly recommend for a relaxed morning activity.

4Enjoyed the trip but it’s definitely more about the experience than the catch. Some people caught fish, some didn’t — that’s fishing I suppose! The bay around Fethiye is beautiful and just being out on the water for four hours was relaxing. Wish they provided at least water on board. Good for families with older kids.

4We booked this as something a bit different from the usual boat trips. The fishing itself was hit and miss — some people caught quite a few, others struggled. The captain was knowledgeable and funny. Boat is small and cosy, max 20 people but our group was around 15. Just be aware there are no refreshments included so pack your own water and snacks.

5Great half-day trip for fishing enthusiasts. The Mediterranean waters around Fethiye are surprisingly rich — we caught mullet, merjan and one person in our group even hooked something that looked like a small tuna. Captain speaks basic English but communicates well enough. Transfer from hotel was on time. Worth it for the experience.

4Nice experience overall. We caught a few fish and the captain was friendly and helpful with the equipment. The boat is small and basic — don’t expect luxury. Four hours goes by quickly. My only complaint is that drinks and snacks cost extra, which wasn’t immediately obvious when booking. Still a good way to spend a morning in Fethiye.

5Brilliant morning out on the water! The captain knew exactly where to take us and within the first hour I had already caught two merjan. Small group — only 12 of us — which made it feel personal rather than touristy. Bring your own snacks and drinks though, nothing is provided on board. Would definitely book again.
