The Old Town
The heart of Antalya is Kaleiçi — the old walled city that has been inhabited continuously for two thousand years. Walking through its narrow cobblestone streets, past Ottoman mansions and Byzantine churches converted into mosques, past bougainvillea-draped walls and glimpses of the sea between the rooftops, is one of the finest urban experiences in Turkey. The tour begins at Hadrian's Gate — a perfectly preserved Roman triumphal arch built in 130 AD to honour the visit of Emperor Hadrian — and continues through the old town to the ancient Roman harbour, where fishing boats and pleasure craft sit in the same sheltered bay that has served sailors since antiquity.
The Mediterranean Boat Trip
From the harbour of Kaleiçi the tour takes to the water for a scenic cruise along the base of the Antalya cliffs. The limestone walls rise dramatically from the sea, and from the water you get a perspective on the city and the coastline that is simply not available from land. Düden Waterfalls

Antalya is a remarkable city — the layers of history in Kaleiçi are extraordinary, from the Roman gate to the Ottoman houses to the Byzantine remains. The boat trip was a lovely way to see the coastline and the hidden waterfall. The Lower Düden Waterfall dropping into the sea was genuinely one of the most dramatic sights of our entire holiday. 4Schöner Ausflug nach Antalya. Die Altstadt Kaleiçi ist wirklich sehenswert — das Hadrianstor ist beeindruckend und die alten Gassen sind sehr atmosphärisch. Die Bootsfahrt war schön und der versteckte Küstenwasserfall war eine tolle Überraschung. Beide Wasserfälle waren gut. Mein einziger Kritikpunkt ist der obligatorische Stopp beim Silberladen — das fühlte sich etwas kommerziell an. Insgesamt aber sehr empfehlenswert.

Dog føltes de obligatoriske butiksstop lidt forstyrrende for oplevelsen. Guiden var kompetent. En god tur samlet set men den kunne være endnu bedre uden de kommercielle afbrydelser.

4A good solid day trip to Antalya. Kaleiçi is charming and the guided walk through the old town with explanations of Hadrian Gate and the other landmarks was genuinely interesting. The boat trip was enjoyable and the hidden coastal waterfall was a nice surprise. Both Düden waterfalls were worth the visit. The silver shop stop was the weakest part of the day but it did not spoil things overall. Would recommend to anyone staying in Kemer.

4A really enjoyable day in Antalya. Kaleiçi is charming — the old town has a wonderful atmosphere and Hadrian Gate is impressive. The boat trip along the cliffs was lovely and the hidden coastal waterfall was a nice surprise. Both Düden waterfalls were worth seeing. I gave four stars because the silver shop stop felt unnecessary and a little long. But the rest of the tour was excellent and I would recommend it.

5Niesamowita wycieczka do Antalyi. Stare miasto Kaleiçi jest jednym z najpiękniejszych miejsc jakie odwiedziłam w Turcji. Brama Hadriana jest niesamowita — stoi od prawie 2000 lat. Rejs łodzią był cudowny a ukryty wodospad widoczny tylko z morza był magiczną niespodzianką. Dolny wodospad Düden spadający wprost do Morza Śródziemnego był jednym z najpiękniejszych widoków całego urlopu.

Jednak wycieczka miała kilka obowiązkowych przystanków w sklepach co trochę psuje ogólne wrażenie. Przewodnik był dobry. Dobra wycieczka ale myślę że można to zorganizować lepiej bez tych komercyjnych przerw.

4Bella gita di un giorno ad Antalya. La città vecchia di Kaleiçi è affascinante — vicoli acciottolati, la Porta di Adriano e l’antico porto. La gita in barca era piacevole e la cascata nascosta visibile solo dal mare era una bella sorpresa. Entrambe le cascate Düden erano belle. 5Une journée parfaite à Antalya. La vieille ville de Kaleiçi est l’une des plus belles que j’aie visitées en Méditerranée. La Porte d’Hadrien est remarquablement bien conservée. La promenade en bateau le long des falaises était magnifique — et la cascade cachée visible uniquement depuis la mer était une vraie surprise. La chute Düden inférieure qui plonge directement dans la mer était spectaculaire. Guide excellent.
