Suluada in the evening is a different place from the island you might know from daytime photographs. The crowds are gone. The water, already famous for its extraordinary clarity and colour, takes on a deeper, warmer tone as the sun drops towards the horizon. The bays are quieter. The air is cooler. And the light — that particular late afternoon Mediterranean light — turns everything it touches into something worth staring at for a very long time.
Swimming as the Sun Goes Down
The tour includes three swimming stops — one in a bay on the island itself, one in the famous Paradise Bay where the sunset unfolds directly in front of you, and one near the Maldivian Bay on the return. Swimming in warm sea water as the sky turns pink and orange above you, with nothing around but the boat and the cliffs and the last light of the day, is one of those experiences that is very difficult to describe and very easy to remember.
Dinner on Board
As the evening settles in, dinner is served on deck. Eating on the open sea as the stars begin to appear, with the coast of the Taurus Mountains visible in the darkness and the lights of Kemer flickering in the distance, is the kind of thing that people come back from holiday and struggle to explain to those who weren't there.

A final swim near the famous Maldivian Bay before heading back to Adrasan.
- Return to Kemer
The boat returns to Adrasan harbour and your driver takes you back to your hotel, arriving at approximately 22:30.

5I did the daytime Suluada trip earlier in the week and came back for the sunset tour and I am so glad I did. They are completely different experiences. The evening light on the island is something that photographs genuinely cannot capture. Swimming in Paradise Bay as the sun disappeared below the horizon was one of the most peaceful and beautiful moments of my entire summer. Dinner on the boat under the stars finished it off perfectly.

Für uns mit zwei kleinen Kindern war es etwas zu lang und zu spät am Abend.

The timing is perfect — you arrive at the island as the light is at its most beautiful, you swim in Paradise Bay as the sun goes down and then you have dinner on deck as the stars come out one by one. There is something about Suluada in the evening that the daytime photographs completely miss. Le coucher de soleil depuis la baie du Paradis était à couper le souffle — le ciel se couvrait de teintes roses et orangées et se reflétait dans l’eau turquoise. Le dîner à bord sous les étoiles était très agréable. Je donne quatre étoiles car le retour à 22h30 est un peu tardif si vous avez de jeunes enfants. Mais pour un couple c’est absolument parfait.

4De avondtour naar Suluada was een prachtige ervaring. Het eiland bij zonsondergang heeft een heel andere sfeer dan overdag — rustiger, romantischer en iets geheimzinnigs. Het zwemmen in Paradise Bay tijdens zonsondergang was een onvergetelijk moment. Het diner aan boord onder de sterren was lekker. Ik geef vier sterren omdat de terugkomst laat is maar voor stellen is dit absoluut een aanrader.
